Our speaker for this meeting will be Charlie Bloch, Business Development and Operations Manager at Vision Fleet. He will discuss and answer questions about the electric vehicle (EV) market, with a focus on the potential role (and challenges) for EVs in fleet applications and the growing car-share and on-demand transportation economies (e.g., Uber and Lyft). Charlie Bloch, Business Development and Operations Manager at Vision Fleet
Charlie Bloch, MBA, MS, is an experienced consulting, business development and operations professional with diverse clean energy sector expertise. In his role as Business Development and Operations Manager, Charlie works with Vision Fleet’s partners to develop and deliver vehicle fleet improvement and optimization projects. This includes fleet opportunity assessment, partner relationship management, management of fleet metrics and ongoing operational support.
Prior to joining Vision Fleet, Charlie was an Associate Director in the Energy practice at Navigant Consulting, a global management and technical consulting firm, where he managed consulting engagements focused on market and policy assessment, regulatory issues, program measurement and evaluation, opportunity and decision analysis, and strategic planning. Previously, he’s supported technology commercialization at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, business development and operations at MWH Global, and strategic marketing and public relations consulting at EnviroMedia.
His underlying interest is to increase the deployment of renewable energy and other clean technologies through innovative finance, partnership and business models.
